One of my favorite go-to combos, you’re guaranteed to LOVE it too.
No added anything, no weird superfood or difficult to pronounce, hard to find ingredients. All you need are the basics: Banana, apple, lemon, kale, ginger, celery, parsley, ice & coconut water.
You can skip the coconut water and just use regular water if you don’t have any on hand. We love staying stocked up on our favorite brand: Harmless Harvest, especially during the summer. We get it at Costco in a 6 pack box in the refrigerated drinks section – it’s much cheaper this way & it makes the best post workout electrolyte recovery too.
I shared this recipe first on instagram HERE. Figured I’d make it easy and post it on my site for you too, since things tend to get lost on that app after a while. Let me know if you try it.

Products used in this recipe include:
- Organic farm produce delivered straight to my door from farmfreshtoyou.com code BRIA4872 saves you $$ on your first order. (This service is sadly only available in California as the produce comes directly from local farms, and they only deliver what’s in season. I love it.)
- Harmless Harvest Coconut Water (not affiliated – just the only coconut water we drink)
- A good blender. The Vitamix Blender makes a world of difference in texture & is totally worth the investment in my opinion. It’ll last you forever, this is the one I use, it’s one of their cheaper models & it works great.
- Reusable Glass Jars with metal lids to decrease plastic waste & simplify your kitchen. We use these glasses regularly as drinking glasses at home and love having a lid to grab for on-the-go moments and to store extra smoothie leftovers in the fridge 🙂
Alright, let’s get to the recipe.
