The Perfect Green Smoothie Recipe

One of my favorite go-to combos, you’re guaranteed to LOVE it too.

No added anything, no weird superfood or difficult to pronounce, hard to find ingredients. All you need are the basics: Banana, apple, lemon, kale, ginger, celery, parsley, ice & coconut water.

You can skip the coconut water and just use regular water if you don’t have any on hand. We love staying stocked up on our favorite brand: Harmless Harvest, especially during the summer. We get it at Costco in a 6 pack box in the refrigerated drinks section – it’s much cheaper this way & it makes the best post workout electrolyte recovery too.

Instructions
  1. Prepare all produce as above. Peel banana, remove center core/seeds/stem from apple, lemons and kale, peel the ginger root using a potato peeler or a knife and pluck fresh parsley leaves from their stems.
  2. add all ingredients, ice and liquids to a high powered blender
  3. blend until smooth. serve immediately.
  4. ENJOY.
Recipe Notes

*Recipe makes TWO servings large enough to fill two 16 ounce jars. If you're making this recipe for yourself, I highly recommend still making it for "two" and saving the remaining serving in the fridge in a glass jar with a lid and shake it up when you're ready to enjoy it again tomorrow. Saves you time, so you don't have to pull out the blender every single day.
