FIRST: soak 1 cup of cashews in 1 cup of clean water while you're gathering your supplies.
(The longer you let the cashews soak the smoother they'll blend but no need to soak them for any longer than an hour... 10 minutes will do just fine too!)
THEN: rinse the soaked cashews, discard the water.
NEXT: add all ingredients to the blender. & BLEND.
It's that easy! No mess, no straining required, the 'cashew milk' mixture should be smooth, creamy & ready to use!
Store in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 5 days.
